Establishment:
The company was established in 1976, its authorized capital is 900 Million pounds and issued and paid capital is currently 961.150 Million ُEGP and all shares fully belong to the Egyptian Government through the Holding Company for Tourism And Hotels.
The Egyptian general Company for Tourism and hotel considered as one of the greatest companies of tourism and hotels in Egypt
Company’s Properties:
- Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino.
- Shepheard hotel Cairo.
- Marriott, Mena House Hote
- Sofitel Winter Palace hotel in Luxor.
- Legend Old Cataract hotel in Aswan and floating resturant as well.
Joint ventures:
The company shares in 15 joint ventures its main business is in the field of tourism and hotels and tourism development with investments in this company and its book value reached to 302.129 million L.E
Hotel Education:
The company owns three high and two upper- intermediate hotel institutes in Alexandria, Luxor and Ismailia affiliated to the company which gives their graduates a bachelor dgree or diploma in tourism & hotels.
